Jeff Jerome is a volunteer nurse at a Port-au-Prince medical clinic. He's there to help people, but also for something to eat. His nursing school was destroyed in the earthquake. He speaks English, Spanish, French, and of course, Kreyol. He hopes to study to become a doctor one day. But in the meantime, he hopes for a new Haiti.

Here also, are neighbors who lived with him in a tent camp after the earthquake in a cement amphitheater.
